Slender Man
One of the most interesting fictionalized horror legends of recent time is the story of Slender man. A tall, faceless, thin man, dressed in a black suit seen in the background of photographs. Slender man can elongate or retract his limbs and has extendable tentacles protruding from his back. It is believed that Slender man stalks and abducts children, but it is unknown what he does with them (Carrero, 2015, Aug. 10). The Slender man phenomenon originated with two photos entered into a photoshop contest, by Eric Knudsen, aka Victor Surge.
