Signs and symptoms of lack of sleep, tiredness, irritability, edginess, inability to tolerate stress, problems with concentration and memory, behavioral, learning or social problems, frequent infections, blurred vision, vague discomfort, alterations in appetite, activity intolerance, Detrimental consequences of poor sleep in older adults are poor health outcomes such as obesity, altered physical functioning, falls, impaired cognition and increased risk for death.
