Sleep away camp, is often times a child’s first time away from home for longer than one night. This can be a scary, and overwhelming experience for many children. The society in which children grow up in modern day, is filled with scenarios that most adults can’t comprehend and being away from home as a child worried about these scenarios can compound the associated anxiety and stress in children.
