Sleep and Dreams Analysis In this log that I kept for my sleeping habits I noticed a little constant routine in my sleep.I would go to bed every night at around 10:15pm and I would wake up at around 5:20am, basically I get around 8-9 hrs of sleep counting the naps. Although I noticed something quite funny, during the past week I had a dream every other night. I think I’m getting enough sleep because I get all the hours of sleep needed. For example I go bed at 10pm and I wake up at 5am and including the naps I take on my way home. My sleep behavior is pretty normal. I can change my patterns to arrange more time to sleep by going to bed at 8 or 9pm to have at extra hour or two. I haven’t noticed any negative side effects. …show more content…
I will have to take extra time on homework to still have enough sleep. One of the dreams I had last week started off like I was in this strange unknown neighborhood it was so silent almost like as if everyone was dead , it was during the evening, the pinkish orange puffy clouds setting above the mountains as the sun slowly hides away and this little blond boy with a blue and white stripped shirt and blue shorts and he had no shoes on,the little boy looked pale, sick he had black in the white part of his eyes and the corners of his mouth were green with bumps all around, I cringed at the sight of his face. Then he told me to follow him inside this weirdly shaped house, gently tugging me across the street. As I opened the metal screen door and looked in front of me to see if the blond boy was still there but he wasn’t, he disappeared in thin air. As I walked in the house, it had a strange yet addicting scent, it was hard to see of how dark it was inside but there was a little shine of light peeking through a curtain. …show more content…
He stepped closer to me and called me by a name I didn’t recognize then he took a hold of my hand and pulled me deeper inside the house to the backyard. We both stood in front of this large white drape covering a door to the backyard, it had a faint purple pink colors shining through. I looked up at him and he gave me warm smile and he pulled the curtain open and pulled me outside. I looked around in confusion, it was pitch black outside with a faint purple light coming out of who knows where and people dancing and talking without a sense , then I turned and the guy who was with me just dropped to the ground talking in gibberish and just disappeared. Then out of nowhere I was laughing and have a great time, like as if I was watching myself. Then I closed my eyes and I appeared in a bed the room was dark and I was wearing a ripped up dress with a phone in my hand and I decided to turn on the

Before immersing myself as a student in the world of sleep, I had always believed that I had a great sleeping pattern. In fact, all of my peers found it amusing how much I loved to sleep, to the point where they said I slept all the time. However, the way that I see it is that I am a 20 year old who goes to a tough school academically, plays a 24/7 sport of basketball for the University, works on campus, and finds time to be social. As one should realize, I am a busy man on a rigorous schedule, therefore, in order to not just get by, but instead to be an achiever, I need my sleep. So before taking all of these tests and monitoring my sleeping pattern, I knew that every night I usually got over 8 hours of sleep depending on what day it is was.…
