There is one nurse at SPLC and she is responsible for the food and diet management programs. She is also in charge of the blood pressure and wellness program that takes place monthly. There is also a Geriatric Assessment and Intervention Network clinic (GAIN) at SPLC, there are doctors and nurses who work in the clinic to conveniently assist clients. As a nursing student, it is essential to continue educating clients regarding health promotion and promote independence. Essentially, health promotion prevents further health complications and protects clients' health.
