The most important features of the opening ceremony includes: entry by the head of state, playing the national anthem of host country, the parade of the athletes, the symbolic release of pigeon(doves), the opening of the Games by the head of state, raising the Olympic flag and playing the Olympic anthem, the taking of the Olympic oath by an athlete, the taking of the Olympic oath by an officials, the taking of the Olympic oath by a coaches, the Olympic Flame and Torch Relay and the Artistic Program.
