Which led the two girls to plot a way to take care of this “problem,” their best friend. The two girls picked up their third friend from her home around midnight for a night drive out to the wilderness, where they planned to smoke marijuana. Neese, Eddy, and Shoaf had been constantly on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, adding post and sharing pictures. Before the incident occurred, Skylar had posted a few things on twitter about her friends leaving her out on certain occasions. The two accused had been spending a lot of time together without inviting the third friend, which led her to feel left out. Many classmates stated that Sheila Eddy and Skylar had been fighting a lot leading up to the incident. One of Skylar’s last tweets was reported to be some kind of warning saying “Just know I Know.” The victim knew of an apparent sexual relation between the two convicted and in the mist of their arguing, used that information as a verbal weapon of defense. This pressure made it vital that any kind of secret affair was not to be known, and once the accused felt threatened they took matters into their hands. A simple “we did not like her,” was the answer they had as to why they brutally killed their best
