I couldn’t really think of a place I would really like to visit. So I decided to watch Mamma Mia and I liked the location they filmed this movie. It was beautiful and I liked how every building was just one solid color while the roof was either blue or brick red. While the ocean was a remarkable clear blue which was even better. I searched where this location would be at and it turns out to be a small town called Skopelos Town, part of Sporades Islands in Greece. I’m guessing I want to travel to Skopelos because it was the movie was filmed there and they have all these technologies to make it brighter. But after researching it, many people travel to Skopelos during the holidays to see for themselves and seems that it’s even better in person than on a television screen. No matter what, it’ll be worth it just even traveling to Greece. With many researching to do I discovered that the area of Skopelos I pretty small but decent with the population of 4,696 people. Skopelos is the second largest of Sporades Islands, in the Aegean Sea. Many visitors are amazed by the countless beaches and coves that Skopelos has to offer. Skopelos is the greenest island in Greece because the island has more than 50% of the area covered with virgin forest of pine …show more content…
It only has four landmarks. One of the most popular landmarks is Panagitsa of Pyrgos, it has many positive reviews and just by looking at photos it’s really beautiful and the building itself has a really nice white solid color with their traditional Pelion architecture. Second most popular landmark is Agios Riginos Monastery, just a small little church. Third is the Monastery of Evangelistria, also small with a pretty ocean view once you leave the building. Fourth is the Sedoukia Pirate Graves, it’s a popular hiking trail with nice views, if you look past the graves. I don’t even know if it is a cemetery or it’s just the name, but who knows unless you

Rich in mythical history, Herodotus wrote of the immortal phoenix that came to this island to be reborn in a nest of cinnabar and incense every 1,000 years. Frankincense that burned in the temples of ancient Greece and Egypt was harvested from this island. Glimpsing the dragon’s blood trees that mantle the Haghier Mountains, one imagines this is what the world must have looked like millions of years ago.…
