This year, as it has for the past six years, the telecommunications will be providing approximately $700,000 of is projected $80 million earmarked for the Skool Aid Programme which encapsulates varying medical delivery booths, free schools supplies, discounts on books through several local book distributors and several attractive entertainment corners for adults and children.

These students, which came to us through the James and Friends foundation which operates in the parish of Clarendon does not only highlight a situation need for these students but how well they have been able to do at school regardless of their situations,” Danielle Savory, public relations officer at FLOW said.
She explained that to-date, and particularly through the Jamaica Constabulary Force Police Community Safety & Security Branch (CSSB) FLOW recently provided 20 students, in areas including Flanker in St James, Rocky Point in Clarendon, Greenwich Town in Kingston, and Dempshire in Spanish Town who excelled at the recent Grade Six Achievement test. In addition to the $20,000, students were also gifted with school supplies, including a school bag.
Savory said that at the much anticipated, seventh annual, Jamm World, Portmore St Catherine hosted Skool Aid back-to-school other students will benefit from these grants and prizes.
“At school aid we will be giving away $200,000 that is approximately 10 children done by raffle at the event itself. So when they enter the venue they will be allowed to enter a raffle and then later during the show the names will be announced,” she
