Using social media is considered as one of the most common activities in today’s world. From children and adolescents to adults, it has become a daily habit for most of the population. Although it may be harmful for today’s generation, many companies widely benefit from the use of social media in the world. Skittles is a company by Wrigley’s that sells colorful and flavored candy and is one of the many companies that use social media such as Facebook, YouTube and other platforms for advertising. On their Facebook page, Skittles asks fans to send in their picture with their Skittles and a fan gets picked every week, to be the fan of the week. Whereas for Twitter, Skittles Twitter keeps updating funny tweets which engages tweeters and has more than 250,000 followers.
