Skip Bayless, a nationally recognized sports journalist, is someone I idolize. He has had an incredible career. Covering professional sports since the 1970s, he has worked as a sports columnist, commentator, and author and has been in all mediums, including print, radio and TV. He started out writing numerous sports columns in prestigious newspapers across the country. Then in the 1990’s he worked in radio, hosting his own show, The Skip Bayless Show, and doing guest appearances on ESPN radio. He became famous during his time on TV’s ESPN’s top rated debate show “First Take,” largely because of his contrarian and controversial attitude towards some of the hottest topics in sports.
