1) Pimples and blisters. A blister is a small bubble filled with a clear serum (i.e. plasma), that creates itself on the skin because of burns on the skin, friction against the skin, and many other damages. A pimple is a swollen part of the skin filled with pus that results from an oil gland being infected with bacteria. Both effects on the skin are created on epithelial tissues, along the upper layers of the epidermis, affecting the stratum corneum while making it infectious. The skin splits in the epidermis, producing a blister, while pimples are created by the over- activity of the oil glands. Therefore, they differ because blisters are formed when the skin breaks unlike pimples which are formed since the glands within our skin become infected.

A scar is a mark left on the skin or epithelial tissue where a wound has not completely healed and fibrous connective tissue has developed. They form when the dermis is damaged. The body forms new collagen fibers from the basal layer to fix the damage. Skin wound healing is when the skin can reconstruct itself completely, whereas when the wound healing process is interrupted, it could lead to scar formation. The basement membrane in interrupted wound healing would not release enough keratinocytes to fully fix the skin, just enough to close the wound up and leave behind a scar.
3) Skin layers. Chapped skin is the development of breaks in the skin due to a mixture of specifically dry and scaly skin and being exposed to cold weather or strong winds.
