The community I come from is low income. As follows with a low income neighborhood it's hard to get access to organic food. The food that we eat is processed and has a lot of excessive oil which causes your skin to breakout.

My immediate family is multicultural. We all have extremely sensitive skin which makes us even more prone to breakouts. So I became very persistent in trying to keep it clear. So I bought facial washes , the lotion, and oil to help my breakouts and scars.Always have a base so when you touch your face it's not bare skin. To solve this problem with me and my siblings I wanted to become a dermatologist.

As I was suffering with acne I looked up everything to make my skin clear as possible, trying to figure out what is best for me. Then people around my age would come up to me and ask what I used. I would tell them that everyone has different skin types and every skin type is different. Therefore everyone uses a different product, something that may be good for them but someone else may have skin irritation problems to that product. You have to find one that best for you and be patient because finding one that adjust to your skin type can take a while.

As I was trying to find skin care products I notice there are many products for women of color. I also told those who came up to me to apply a coat of lotion after like cocoa butter or aloe vera. Also try not to touch your face throughout the day. The oils on your hand cause your face to breakout.

So I became interested in how my immediate family could take care of their skin. Also I did not want them to have to go through the process of find a good product. With my many unanswered questions I knew I had to become a dermatologist. I also want to work with the my black is beautiful campaign and creating a special remedy for sensitive

Topical medications and Laser therapy can be used to help reduce redness by constricting the blood vessels that give the skin it’s reddish appearance. Other types of medications that are typically used target the bumps or acne that are associated with rosacea and include oral antibiotics and Isotretinoin (strong acne medication only used for severe cases). Alternative treatments could include gentle facial massages, and the use of oils like emu, Laurelwood, and oregano, however, there is no real evidence that these alternative treatments actually work.
