Do freshmen in college need specific skills to succeed? This question leads us to think carefully about the skills which will help the freshmen to succeed and prevent them from the difficulties during the college life. In fact, there are three main skills the freshmen must pick up them in college such as; organization, time management and positive.

Firstly, one main skill for freshmen to succeed in college is to be organized. Organized freshmen always arrange their parts of academic life and go to classes on time and fit time for learning and don’t miss any of them. That’s why they don’t lose marks and always get high scores. For example, Meera and Muna were close friends, in the same class, but Meera at the end of the semester got an “A”

By determining specifying time for studying it helps the freshmen to be will prepared and ready for any pop quiz or a final exam. Choosing time for studying is to make period of your daytime to revise what did you take in the class and to study the material for the next day of your study day. For example, Khalid is a student lazy and his grade is low. So, he went to his advisor to take an advice on how he could improve himself in studying and an advisor recommended him to make apart of time for studying. At the end of the semester the student got a high grade. In addition, the freshmen students must make time for themselves. Making time for themselves to get relaxed and get away from the studying area for a day or a week to his body to relax to make some activities such as playing Yoga, will be good to them. Because the brain must relax and take rest and if it didn’t relax, it will get stress and the student won’t focus in the class. For example, Fatma was a freshman who was an excellent in her studies, but she was always studying for a long time and she didn’t give time for herself. So, after a while, she got stressed and couldn’t focus on her studying and then she got tired and went to doctor. Then, the doctor said to her she that she must give time for her self.
