A Skill Needed for Success in College There are a lot of different skills that every student must have to succeed in college. Students need study skills, independent living skills, self-advocacy skills, and assistive technology skills. One of the most important both study and living skills that helps students to do well in college is time management. To begin with, time management is the ability to use one’s time effectively or productively, especially at college and work. Being short of time is a common perception among many college students. Since so much going on at college campus and in personal life of a student, it is no wonder that he or she can feel or be overloaded when it comes to classes, work, or extracurricular activities.
