First the book included many small beautiful details in the surrounding area. Second the characters where very neatly described example: He is short and has long hair on one side of his head, but is bald on the other. He has at least thirty metal pins in his body, a metal wire in his jaw and a metal plate in his skull. He has uneven legs and walks with a limp. His face is also lopsided. One of his eyes is permanently bloodshot. Another Strength in the book was how the author can make a scene feel so real: pg 202 Conrad stepped forward, the gun raised thud…thud…thud…thud… Alex’s heart was an animal inside him, beyond his control, responding to fear he felt. There was nothing he could do to hide it. His heart was beating louder and faster, echoing out of the speakers. Conrad touched the gun against Alex’s heart. Thudthudthudthudthudthudthudthudthud “listen to the sound of your own terror. Do you hear it? And when you hear silence-it may be just a few seconds from now---that is when you will know you have died!” Conrad’s finger tightened on the trigger. Then Sarov turned off the sensor. Alex felt as though he had been shot. The sudden silence hit him like a hammer blow. Like a bullet from a gun. He fell to his knees, hollowed out, barley able to breathe. He no longer had the strength to stand up. The book Skeleton key had some weakness that I didn’t like. First the book was easy to tell when something is going to happen. Next the book had to many characters in the book, which sometimes ruined the book. Another weakness is that this book is like any other spy book where the world is in danger and someone has to stop it. Finally the book sometimes had sentences that made no sense. In conclusion, this book had more strengths than
