Have you ever wonder what the difference IS between a longboard and a skateboard? You will learn the many differences and similarities between the two. First I will tell about the Skateboard, A skateboard is 28.5 inches in length and 7.5 inches in width. It has small wheels only measuring at 2.04 inches wide. The wheels are designed for short travel and traction. Because of this that means it isn't made for cruising like a longboard. The average truck size for skateboard is 6.5 inches in length and are made for sharp turns. The griptape of a skateboard is right to give good traction to perform ollies and rail grinds.
