“American Zero, South African Hero” a news headline is used to describe Sixto Diaz Rodriguez during his South African tour in 1998. The newspaper writes this title to declare the situation of Rodriguez who is an American musician is well-known in South Africa, but unknown in America. In South Africa, the popularity of Rodriguez is even higher than the Rolling Stones. Nevertheless, South Africans cannot get any information about this artist. They only know about this man are his couple songs and a blurry album art of his picture. People have many rumors about him. They said Rodriguez had killed himself on stage by gun or by fire.
