Keep in mind, the word handling is not limited in meaning. Handling people could mean, responding to them, approaching them, and communicating with people on a whole. When it comes to influencing people and making friends, I believe that it is important to know how to deal with people. Taking a close look at the other topics, Six Ways to Make People Like You—this is already a misguiding topic, because it is virtually teaching something that is impossible. We cannot make people like us, though we can project our sincerest qualities before then, in hopes of their returning the same to us. The next topic is better, but still not a first choice—Twelve Ways to Win People to Your Way of Thinking.
While people can be convinced of how to think and they can even be persuaded into believing certain things—religion for instance, winning people to a particular way of thinking is not the best approach to winning friends. “Next, nine ways to change people without giving offense or arousing resentment”, this topic is still not a convincing enough title for an approach of winning friends and influencing people. Again, applying the best principle to my personal life would perhaps be learning fundamental techniques in handling
