Six-Hour Work Week

Decent Essays
I believe a six hour work day would never work in the united states, especially for a buisness that runs day an night. A buisnees that runs on a six hour work shift would have to employ more workers because they're now empty shifts that need to be filled, another down fall to hiring more employees would be having to pay more people to work as stated in paragraph 1 of six-hour days will never work "In the end, it had to revert to longer days because the expense of employing extra workers to cover all the shifts was too great."

Taking on a six hour work day would involve you to put extreme focus into your work, less meetings which could cause problems in the buisness due to lack of communitcation. Having to put intense focus into your work
