I Belive six-hour workdays are useless and not fair to the workers. I belive this reason beacuse six-hour workers are not getting paid enough, are getting sick which hurts production, and are not getting all of there health benifits because they dont work fulltime. Six-hour workdays are obviously not working and these are the reasons why.

Six-hour workdays are hurting the workers because there not getting paid enough. Workers are putting lots of effort into their work and not getting paid as much as fulltime and are even doing a better job. Even if the six hours workers were getting paid enough as full time workers businesses would not be able to support the other shifts having to be covered. In the passage it states ''If workers continue

I agree with you, the Fair Labor Standard Act is a very important law that help businesses. If this law was not made than many people would be working long hours and work for low pay because there is no minimum wage set up. For instance, like you said the citizens in Korea working 12 hour shifts in a day seems very unethical and unfair, but they have no law that prevents this situation from occurring. On the other hand, this law can be harmful to businesses because as the years by, new products prices go up and this would cause a raise in minimum wages. This would lead to decrease of revenue on sales for businesses, which would also cause many people to loose there…

According to the Proposed Rule document issued by the Wage and Hour Division, these new regulations can have benefits. I do agree with this statement because working long hours can increased the risk of employees getting an injury or health problems. Therefore just like stated in the Proposed Rule document, “this would benefit the worker's welfare, their family's welfare, and society since fewer resources would need to be spent on health.” Employees will also have the opportunity of spending more time with their families. It may not seemed like a whole like, but we have to remember that our employees’ wellbeing is important to our Company.…

I believe a six hour work day would never work in the united states, especially for a buisness that runs day an night. A buisnees that runs on a six hour work shift would have to employ more workers because they're now empty shifts that need to be filled, another down fall to hiring more employees would be having to pay more people to work as stated in paragraph 1 of six-hour days will never work "In the end, it had to revert to longer days because the expense of employing extra workers to cover all the shifts was too great." Taking on a six hour work day would involve you to put extreme focus into your work, less meetings which could cause problems in the buisness due to lack of communitcation. Having to put intense focus into your work…

I think that a relating and advising math slogan to use next year for our math class is: Do All Work. I chose this because doing all the work is an important part of math. If you don’t do the work, you will find yourself lost in the math you are solving. In algebra, not doing all the work might mean that you did a question wrong. You also can’t calculate everything in your head, because going on you are going to forget how to figure out math.…

College is a stressful time for many people, and it can leave you in the dust in the blink of an eye if you don't work hard. Since the main reason people are quitting from MedEX is related to transportation, there are several options that Harry Davis should take into consideration in order to avoid turnovers, for example, provide transportation to employees so they do not have to pay for parking, offer a 4 days and 10 hours shift, or 3 days and 12 hours shift, and last but not least, telecommuting. Transportation could play a significant role in this regards because employees have expressed their frustration about paying a high cost for parking in downtown. When employees notice that employers care about their needs and provide them with solutions, they tend to respond in a reciprocal manner by being more productive, their performance improves and they become more loyal to the organization because they feel that the company cares about them (Martocchio, 2013). Some businesses like Wal-Mart Distribution Center offers 4 days and 10 hours shift where employees work from Monday through Thursday having…
