Personal Narrative: My Visit To Six Flags

Improved Essays
Last summer visiting my family in California was such an exciting thing. I haven’t seen them in over two years, so it was such a great chance to have before going to college full time, and getting my first job. When visiting my family for a few weeks, my dad decided that we were going to Six Flags Magic Mountain for my birthday. I was too happy and thought that was the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. My sister, brother, and I had count down the weeks and days till it was the day to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Every day we always brought up Six Flags, and what we were going to do when we got there, or what ride we just had to ride first. Just the thought of going to Six Flags for my first time felt so exciting. I couldn’t wait to ride the biggest rides there. To have wind blowing in my face, and my stomach dropping while I through my heart up from dropping down …show more content…
There was about a two hour wait just to get on this ride, so in the meantime my sister, and step mother chicken out. But my dad, brother, and I was totally ready for this ride after we read there description on it. This ride had over a 255 feet tall drop, which took you at least 80 mph down. If I wanted to feel my heart jump out of my body, and my stomach drop I knew this was the ride. As soon as we got o and the coaster started taking us up, and up my dad decides he’s going to record! And he does, I just feel so nervous as we went up the tallest ride there. Finally we got to the top, and it was as if the roller coaster was dangling us off of a 40 foot high building, till it had enough. We went down the steep drop, and oh did I get the feeling I wanted to, my stomach was so tight it had dropped, and my heart stopped beating for a good few minutes on this ride. It was the best ride I have ever rode, and after that I knew nothing could beat that

I remember the gut wrenching feeling in my stomach as my best friend and I approached the tallest and fastest roller coaster at Hershey Park, called SkyRush. I am not sure why I agreed to go on this roller coaster, considering most of the time at amusement parks I entertain myself with food, and miniature rides that stay level to the ground. Unlike me, my friend liked the rush and heart dropping feeling of being at the apex of a roller coaster and then dropping down at maximum speed. Personally, I preferred the ground, where I remained in full control of my own safety. Yet that afternoon I found myself standing in line for SkyRush.…

Six Flags Last year I decided to go to Mozzeria for my deaf event, and this year I knew that I wanted to do something different. When I heard that Six Flags was devoting a day for the deaf, I marked my calendar because I figured it would be different than the typical restaurant scene. The only problem was that I didn’t want to go alone, and I knew that my mom and sister wouldn’t want to go. I asked Alex if he wanted to go with me and he said he would have to see, he texted me later and said that he would love to go and that his mom could drive us both there.…

When I was about nine years old, my family was debating about going to Cedar Point the upcoming weekend. I hadn't rode many roller coasters in my life at that time because I was only nine. Of course, trying to be manly, I totally agreed with their decision. My parents told me how big the roller coasters are, and how the roller coasters are some of the biggest in the world. I acted like I wasn't scared, and was talking about how I didn't care about the size of the roller coasters.…

It was the largest, most thrilling roller coaster yet to be found. I didn't believe it but knowing my best friend Prisa she was not gonna let me miss out on as she would always say, “once in a lifetime opportunities”. It was a hot, sunny day as the sun lit up the whole park. The blunt air had no wind or even a soft gentle breeze. It was just plain old humid and to add on to that, we were crowded with a solid 200 people in the line,…
