Along with this theme, the characters in the pilot are not bothered by death, but rather intrigued and fascinated with it. This theme is evident when Enrico is talking with Nate about his work. He tells Nate about a couple that was involved in a murder- suicide and how it was his job to make them look good again. While telling him this story, he talks about all the details he put into that job to make the couple look good again.
The tone throughout the show seems to be very dark due to the content in the episode. This whole episode revolves around death and how the subject interests the characters since it is apart of their job.
