Six Absolutes
The BFS Six absolutes, created by Dr. Greg Shepard, are effective teaching techniques that can significantly increase an athletes' strength. The Six Absolutes are to use a athletic or jump stance, be tall, spread the chest(lock in the lower back), align the toes, align the knees(knees over toes), and eyes on target. The first of the six Absolutes is to use an athletic stance or jump stance. This stance is normally about shoulder width apart and is the basis for all lifts.The second is to be tall, this can improve posture which will help with ones performance in sports and reduce the risk of injury. The third of the six absolutes of perfect technique is to spread the chest. Spreading the chest allows your back to lock into place
