Sitting Bull: Important To Early American History

Sitting Bull was born on March 1831 in Grand River. He died on December 15,1890.Sitting Bull’s parents names were Jumping Bull and Her-Holy-Door. At the time that he was born, the United States was still forming.He had several names, but people remember him as Sitting Bull. He was important to American history because he was a Native American chief on the Sioux tribes.

First, Sitting Bull was famous for many reasons. Some of the reasons he was famous for was being a buffalo hunter and the leader of the Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux tribe. He was a leader for more than 10,000 Tetons. People now a days consider him as a brave warrior. Sitting Bull was responsible for knowing if the people had enough buffaloes.
