Sisterhood between Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Wright
Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Wright are both farmer’s wife and they know each other for so long. Mrs. Hale knows Mrs. Wright since she was Minnie Foster, one of the town girls. “She used to wear a pretty clothes and be lively, but that was thirty years ago.” (P.30, L.22) Unfortunately, Mrs. Hale lives far apart from Mrs. Wright’s house and not visiting her more often. But when they meet again, Mrs. Hale knows the difficulty Mrs. Wright was facing. So, she decided to conceal the evidence of the crime.
