Sister Dorothy clearly demonstrates honoring “dignity and sacredness of each person” through both words and actions throughout the biography. It states, “[The sisters] would teach new hymns and lead the faithful in prayer, and they would begin to teach the members of the communities about their rights as human beings” (32).
