I loved the actress that played Deloris. She has an amazing voice and incredible acting ability. My favorite song that she sang is “Sister Act”, when the actress performed this song, it sent shiver down my spine. It was filled with so much emotion, I could actually see her crying. She should true dedication to her character and to the production, and she wasn’t the only one. Sister Mary Robert, made my heart soar. From quiet to outspoken, she sings out her true feelings in her song, “The Life I Never Led”. Of course there were many others that were just as dedicated as Deloris and Mary Robert, but there were some that weren’t into it. These actors made it pretty obvious that they didn’t want to be there. I think there were about three or four, one of them right at the start of the play. Starting out with low energy and making the first act drag on. Some of the nuns were like this as well, however thanks to the ones that wanted to be in the show the energy slowly picked up, making the second act extremely enjoyable.
In fact, with the second act I got to enjoy a very up close performance. When Joey, one of the villains of the show, starting to sing “Lady in the Long Black Dress”, with Tj and Pablo, I knew the inevitable was going to happen.
