I also seen a man tied of to an big pole and man peddling.The mood of the painting can be described as spooky, which demonstrates the idea that is horrifying because it seems like the sirens crash the boat and they have the captain of the ship tied up.I think the painting understands people being scary of the sirens.Which gives me an idea that people can be scared of things but they also can overcome it.
