Sir Isaac Newton was born 1642, as a puny baby who wasn't expected to live. When Isaac Newton was a child, his mom left him only to come back years later with a husband and two children. Newton despised his stepfather. When Newton as older, he left his parents to go study at Cambridge. That was were he developed most of his theories and discovered most of his discoveries. In 1669, Newton became the professor of mathematics at Cambridge. While …show more content…
Calculus was an important invention because it helped Newton continue his research on optics. If Newton had never discovered gravity, nasa and the rest of the world would be around 50 years back in technology and knowledge. Newton once said "gravity is the key to unlocking the universe". One hundred percent true. Newton's first law of motion is an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. His second law states that the acceleration of an object is dependent upon two variables, the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object. The third law says that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. If the world didn't have the laws of motion, Gravity, or even calculus, then we wouldn't have half the discoveries and inventions we have
