Sir Isaac Newton The famous scientist I chose is Sir Isaac Newton. He is famous for his work on universal gravitation. He also developed the three laws of motion. I wanted to know more about Newton because the only thing I knew was that an apple fell on his head and he started thinking about gravitation so that’s why I chose him. Isaac Newton was born in Woolsthorpe, United Kingdom. He is an English physicist and mathematician. He is maybe the most famous scientist in history. His father died 3 months before he was born. When Isaac was born he was a premature baby the doctors didn’t expect him to survive. Newton was very tiny and weak but he did survive and became a great scientist. He must of felt so happy because it looked like farming wasn’t his thing to do in life and it wasn’t because he later became the most well-known scientist in history. His uncle who must have saw something special in him convinced his mom to enroll him at the University of Cambridge. He was enrolled at the university but in a work-study program. He had to take care of wealthy student rooms. That was the only way he could get in the university. Later the university close so Newton returned to private study. The university closed because of the great plague and it came to Cambridge.
