ir Gawain and the Green Knight, a tale that starts off as King Arthur is at his Christmas party celebrating the holidays, he will not eat anything until he has a heard a great story and on cue a Green knight waltzes in. The Green knight has come to inspect Arthurs court because he heard so much about its superior knight. After the Green Knight head is chopped off by Gawain Arthur Nephew, the Knight rides off. Time has past and Gawain must return the blow. He goes on a quest and finds a castle where he eventually meets a young lady who is the lords wife. The lord then suggests that Gawain to stay at court and linger in bed and around the castle, spending time with the two ladies and at the end of each day will exchange what ever they won. Gawain
