The word moral has several definitions. According to Webster’s dictionary, moral means “relating to duty or obligation; pertaining to those intentions and actions of which right and wrong, virtue and vice, are predicated, or to the rules by which such intentions and actions ought to be directed.” Another definition says, “Conformed to accepted rules of right; acting in conformity with such rules; virtuous; just; as, a moral man.” From these definitions we can possibly conclude that all you have to do is “do the right thing” in order to be a moral person or you can conform to acceptable rules of right, such as the rules of the church, in order to be a moral person. …show more content…
