The researchers at MIT tested a new vaccine that holds all of the vaccines. While they have yet to test this vaccine on humans, they have tested it on mice. The shot shoots all of the vaccines into the body, but the vaccine is in capsules. The capsules are programmed to release at certain times so that you get your vaccinations at the right time. They also tested releasing the booster shots along with the shot. When testing on mice, they got the boosters to release nine, twenty, and forty-one days after the first shot. This can really help people because if someone is not able to get all the vaccines due to lack of money, they only need one. The only issue they are running into is keeping the vaccines waiting to release the right temperature. Furthermore, they are also trying to shrink the capsules to where they are small enough to inject into the muscle. For now, they still do …show more content…
The idea of putting multiple vaccines in one shot is very innovative. I really think it is cool that they are able to have the booster shots release at certain times prior to the shot. This will really help with disease control as well. The people with less money will be able to get their shots, thus preventing huge breakouts of deadly diseases. This will probably take awhile to be released, because of the problem of keeping the waiting vaccines cool. Plus, the researchers at MIT still want to make them smaller to inject into the muscle. Even though it is going to be a long wait, I think the vaccine is going to be worth
