Single Bullet Theory

to be inaccurate. There were a few centimeters of difference between the drawing of the bullet wound on the back of Kennedy’s neck compared to the picture taken at Parkland Hospital. What was believed to be an exit wound on the back of Kennedy’s neck by the Parkland staff was later determined to be an entrance wound by Bethesda (McAdams “The Medical Evidence” 1). This contradiction implies that the government was attempting to cover up the fact that the gunshots came from in front of the car opposed to behind it where Oswald was alleged stationed (McAdams “The Medical Evidence” 6). The Single Bullet Theory states that President Kennedy and Governor Connally were both struck by the same bullet. This bullet supposedly passed through Kennedy’s …show more content…
The rifle found on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository and the rifle that Oswald owned bore the same serial number: C2766. However, there were many manufacturers that manufactured the weapon, so the serial numbers were repeated on more than one occasion. That being said, it is impossible to prove that Oswald’s weapon and the sixth floor weapon were the same. Oswald, according to the Warren Commission, carried the weapon into work that day concealed in a paper bag wrapping. Two people who saw Oswald that morning were the man who drove him to work and his sister, and both witnesses state the paper bag found on the sixth floor was longer than the bag they saw Oswald carrying. Employees of the Texas School Book Depository also testified that they saw Oswald at the lunchroom on the second floor around lunchtime. At this time, Oswald was already on the sixth floor according …show more content…
Kennedy, but the most daunting by far is the idea that the government played a role. The men who were hired to protect the president changed the route of the motorcade the morning of the assassination, even though the newspapers had printed a different route. The new route took President Kennedy directly in front of the Texas School Book Depository (Russell 2). On the sixth floor, a map was found that showed the new path of the motorcade and a bullet trajectory. Obviously, this took some time to plan, even though only a few people knew of the change in path (Russell 3). How could Oswald have possibly known of this alteration unless he was being framed or someone clued him in? After the first shot was fired, the Secret Service agent that was driving the car came to a complete stop and sped off after the fatal headshot was delivered. The Secret Service proceeded to remove every scrap of evidence from the car immediately (Russell 3). A lady who was taking pictures of the motorcade had the Texas School Book Depository in the frame. The Secret Service confiscated the film and never publically released it. This could be because Lee Harvey Oswald was not the person in the sixth floor window (Russel 4). Jack Ruby was a well-known man in the crime world of Dallas and Chicago, and it is quite possible that he

The problem is that a ton of single-assassin theorists rely on the HSCA’s version of the SBT. As we’ve clearly seen, their version is totally at odds with the evidence and more towards a bias in desperate haste to confirm a predetermined conclusion and the government’s thesis -- a lone assassin. If its not the HSCA they rely on, they rely on subsequent “experts” of the case. Also... Pat Speer factually points out: “While many TV shows present the single-bullet theories of Dr. Lattimer, Gerald Posner, and Dale Myers as if they are the official government theory, the theories of these men are actually at odds with both the Warren Commission and HSCA interpretations of the wounds, trajectories, and shot sequences.”…

The "Los Angeles Times" writes, "Howard found a little green address book, and on its 17th page under the heading 'I WILL KILL' Oswald listed four men: an FBI agent named James Hosty; a right-wing general, Edwin Walker; and Vice President Richard Nixon. Maybe, a few hours after Kennedy was declared dead Johnson ordered for the presidential limo to be remodeled and all evidence to be locked away for 75 years. So why was Oswald accused of the murder of JFK? Because he was the CIAs backboard to blame after the assassination was complete and then no one will know the truth behind the assassination. Some people believe that Oswald did really kill the president, but why did Oswald wait for the limo to turn on Elm St. and not on Houston St where he could have a clear straight shot at the president that if he missed the first time he could get him with a second shot at the intersection of Houston and Elm…

The Dallas Police Department was most fortunate to have both. The body of President Kennedy was transported to the Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was officially pronounced dead. Yet, contrary to Texan law, the body of JFK was flown out of Dallas on Air Force One and transported to a hospital in Washington D.C. This maneuver by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), again left conspiracy theorists questioning the brazen move. The significance of this strategy resounds most in the emergence of the “magic bullet theory” ( Texas A&M University, 2007).…
