I have provided my analysis on important audit and accounting issues of the Youth Singers below: This audit engagement will be high-risk due to the following factors: - YS is a new client therefore we are not familiar with their routines. - YS has never been been audited before therefore, any information about internal controls or management support cannot be obtained through previous auditors. - Segregation of duties is doubtful. One person is in charge for routine operational activities.…

As a result of continuous practice and persistence, I became the principal player in my freshman band. Before entering high school band, notwithstanding the effort, I faced financial challenges. My family could not afford a trombone or pay for band to let me continue my dreams. But I did not surrender hope, and asked my band teacher for help while my parents sought aids from my relatives. Fortunately, I could purchase a student model instrument at a cheap price and continue to play in high school.…

This past Saturday I had the great honor of attending the South East Iowa Honor Band (SEIBA) auditions, a prestigious competition where music students from all of southeast Iowa have the opportunity to undergo an intense audition process including, but not limited to, arthritis from excessive preparation, mental breakdowns, glares from judges that could kill you with one look, and sugar overdoses from their wide variety of healthy options available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the concession stands. Alright, it’s not actually that intense, but you get the picture. This day is full of excitement and nerves and disappointment as one five minute audition stands between months of hard-work and your personal goals. Sadly enough, as important…

I believe in singing in the shower. Using different colored bottles of shampoo as my mic, I sing until my throat is raw and my voice is nearly gone. Dancing around, having the time of my life in a three walled room I won't be judged in. Attempting to sing high soprano notes and belting out low alto notes. Singing in the shower leaves me able to express myself, like I am preforming at my own personal concert.…
