3. Out of the three stars in the film, Donald O’Connor possessed the greatest overall skillset. In the film, the scene where he was singing and dancing all alone with the camera focused on him the entire time showed his ability to sing and dance simultaneously. This was a unique characteristic that he possessed. O’Connor’s acting was good because he was able to play his character well. In the film, he was enthusiastic and showed physical emotion and energy. He was able to play the role well because of his strengths. Watching Singin’ in the Rain was interesting because it was the first musical I watched. Because of this, I watched La La Land. I liked the majority of the film, however, some portions were not intersting because they were repetitive and it led the scene to be boring. You should show it in classes in the future because it is an important part of history in the film world. Musicals were a huge deal at the time so it was helpful to learn and watch musicals such as this one.
