Simulations of the Destruction of Humanity Many would confirm human behavior is based on what is taught and what is common etiquette in certain cultures. Typically, at a young age is when learning takes place the most from parents and family. Childhood is a very important time due to the desire to know everything and parents must make sure they take the right steps in teaching good habits. The knowledge of the parent certainly aids the brain growth of a child and how stable to the household is with income. There are many contributing factors as to why a child would act a certain way; dealing with a practice that would influence them can change behavior. As technology progresses it is becoming more influential on individual’s lives.

This form of sadness could cause aggression to others if partaking in anti-social behavior. Taking on an unhealthy habit of not exercising can lead to increase weight gain. Increased weight gain can lead to peers teasing an individual which could cause them to be even more anti-social and looking at video games as an outlet to get back to their comfort zone. Eventually bullying takes things over the edge and can cause violence such as fighting or worse severely hurting another human being. Lemmens also points out, “. . . but our moderation analyses indicated that pathological gaming predicted an increase in physical aggression regardless of violent content” (47). Examining this research concluded that, regardless of content, the excess of video game playing on an individual can cause anti-social behavior and eventually resulting into aggressive behavior. Video games have positive influences as well but according to Vessey, 80% of video games contain violence. “Learning and repeatedly practicing aggressive situations may alter children 's basic personality structures, leading to more hostile thoughts and untoward changes in social interactions” (607). Just like in the educational system and basic skills family and teachers encourage to do something repeatedly to get it right. Before society was civilized and had government, people hunted and killed to survive. Some dinosaurs were supposedly horrifically carnivorous creatures that would devour anything in their path. In today’s society murder and rape are considered morally wrong and have been for a long time. With technology, video games can simulate such immoral acts easily. From gruesome genocide to pornography itself, a video game can create it and add as much realism before latest technology permits us. In a Christian viewpoint, this is morally upsetting and must not forget that videogames do have a rating system named the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). Unfortunately, the rating is not always put into account and parents still let their child play a young adult game. That issue along with the argument of what is moral and immoral. For example, “if video game violence is perceived as morally threatening, supporting scientific and political claims against violent video games could serve as a means to affirm and protect nonviolence as a moral value” (Rothmund 771). Pacifists are considered believers of non-violence. Anything violent is considered immoral and it can be the reason why many do not support violent videogames. Immoral behavior being exposed to our youth is going to strike attention in people that believe in pacifistic
