The simple reaction between two substances (Mg and HCL) was performed to determine how different factors such as, temperature, and concentration effects the rate of reaction. There were noticeable differences while determining the effects of concentration of HCL on the rate of reaction. Increasing in the concentration of the HCL, bottom of the test tube became hotter; it’s an exothermic reaction because energy is being released during the reaction in the form of heat. Another, increasing in concentration of HCL reacting with Mg, formation of hydrogen gas bubbles comes out faster and quicker the Mg gets invisible.
