Simon Jones is a 60-year-old man from McLaren Vale (School of Nursing & Midwifery 2014). He has post-traumatic stress disorder due to a peace keeper tour with the Australian Army and is now a book keeper in a family business (School of Nursing & Midwifery 2014). Simon received a National Bowel Screening Kit in the mail, followed instructions and sent his stool in for examination (School of Nursing & Midwifery 2014). He got a positive test result from the immunological faecal occult blood test (School of Nursing & Midwifery 2014). Due to this result, Simon experienced other diagnostic tests and examinations such as a colonoscopy and physical examinations (School of Nursing & Midwifery 2014).
