There is no simple answer to this, but a frequent one is “To live a life you’re meant to live.” What do they mean by this? This is a simple question, but is very hard to explain or answer. The way you answer this question is not by talking, but by acting. Your past and future choices determine what life you’re meant to live. Our actions can reflect our purpose. A simple way of doing so is helping out at a shelters, churches, or helping the less fortunate, these are examples of good things that could, but bad things can shape the way you feel. If you do one bad thing at the wrong time people will treat you worse and make you feel down even though it’s not how you want to be reflected. …show more content…

It’s not until the end of the movie where Joe realizes that purpose shaped him and everything around

She then continues her argument by explaining the opposite of each of these criterion as a stereotypical person. However, Wolf’s assertion suffers from being overly general in that it makes the assumption that all humans have access to the same resources and opportunities to perform the tasks required to be considered meaningful by her standards.…

Much like here on earth (without all the stuff), except here on earth we have temporarily forgotten the divine and infinite bits of ourselves! If I can be a bit honest here, as humans we have become self-obsessed, self-absorbed and rather blinded by our own self-importance.…

After this meeting, Simon keeps in contact with his father by writing him letters, and soon finds out that he has moved to the country side and lives much like how Simon does, “when he learned that Tomas, too, was living in the country, he was thrilled: fate had made their lives symmetrical” (270). With his father living a similar life, Simon is convinced that it was fate, he believes that there is an obvious meaning behind why and refuses to believe that there is no real meaning why either of them live the ways in which they do. Once Tomas dies, Simon is responsible for his funeral, “The moment he received the telegram from the chairman of the collective farm, he jumped on his motorcycle.
