Everybody has read a story, but not every story can easily be pictured. In All Summer In A Day by Ray Bradbury uses symbolism and similes to help the story come to life in the reader’s mind. Throughout the story, the author uses symbolism to help readers picture the story. However, others may argue that personification is used to help readers imagine the story. While there is personification in the story, all it does is makes the story more interesting, but lacks giving a visual picture in the reader's mind.
