Although poltergeists and ghosts have many similarities they have more differences that set then apart from one another. One is a light hearted deceased soul that wants to let one know that they are watching while the other is cold hearted and wants you to suffer so they can receive more energy to make themselves stronger. The energy you feel around you does not always mean that you have something negative hanging around in your backyard, taking ghosts for example, they tend to “take energy from their surroundings and environment rather than people” (Seas of Mintaka, 2016).
