Greece and Mesopotamia are two very different civilizations. One difference was the government. Greece was the first democracy in history while Mesopotamia had a theocracy. Another difference was the fact that citizens had a say in government in Greece. Now while that ties into Democracy at the time no one else had thought of anything like it. However, even though they were different these two ancient powerhouses did have some similarity. One similarity was th belief in more then one god. At one point in both these civilizations history they were polytheistic. Another similarity that was uncommon in ancient times was the ability for women to work. Both these ancient civilization allowed women to work as farmers or teachers to the young.
