The two different stories of two different religion going through the same situation. ‘The night’ is a story of a young boy Elie, whose life changes drastically after being imprisoned by the Nazis. As well as the other Jews that were imprisoned suffers and gets seperated with their families. The author Elie Wiesel who is one of the survivors of the holocaust presents the story very well and clearly which gives the readers a visual sense of idea while reading. In the other hand, in the movie ‘the Schindler’s list’, Schindler’s life changes as he realizes the Jews shouldn’t be treated brutally. So he begins a mission to help them. The director Steven spielberg directed the whole story realistically and it was successful to give Liam Neeson

In the book The night, Jews were going both internal and external conflict. Internally, feeling depressed as they can no longer do anything about the situation and the anger and sadness of being separated and killed in front of them. Externally, they suffer the most by getting beat up by the Nazis and starving for days. Comparably, in the movie Schindler’s list, the Jews suffer from both internal and external conflict exactly as mentioned in the book The night. Schindler was going through internal conflict as well, when he realizes that the Jews need to be treated better than they were being, he starts helping them but he regrets and feel sad as he realize that the amount of people he saved were not enough. Also, there’s man vs society, when Schindler was angry that the Nazis weren’t treating the Jews like human. The sacrifice Eile makes when he was in the prison for his dad is similar to the sacrifice Schindler makes for the Jews. Elie saves his ration of food and gives it to his dad even when he was hungry.
