The French Revolution consisted of 40,000 deaths while the Arab spring consisted of 180,000 which occurred just from pretests ! Both The French Revolution and the Arab Spring are known to be the bloodiest times throughout history in which deaths occurred abundantly. The two Revolutions are similar in that they both rebelled heavily against the government since the government were implying a corrupt system on the people. The Arab spring began with the Tunisian Revolution then many other Arab countries followed Tunis, as what Libya did. The Libyan and the French Revolution had many differences as well as similarities, and both resulted in a success and as a failure. And both revolutions resulted in many ways, first of all people weren't working which made both the french and The Libyan Revolution have an immensely high amount of unemployment. The rate of unemployment that is found in Libya is around 20.70% while France suffered a great 60% rate. Since the revolutions suffered with unemployment they also suffered with economical problems. France suffered mostly because of their dept with America while Libya suffered mostly since many people that were living in Libya were under the poverty line which made the country’s economy go bad. Bad economy and unemployment and the situation that they were in made the people even angrier and angrier which led to leaders being overthrown by their people and then led to execution of leaders.
