There are two types of people in life, people who change and stay the same. Each story that we read contained at least two main characters that were static and dynamic. The first story is “The Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allen Poe. The second is “The Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell and the last is “The Necklace” by Guy de Maupassant. In these stories there are two types of characters, static such as Fortunato and dynamic such as Rainsford and Madame Loisel. The Cask of Amontillado had one character that was static. Which was Fortunato. He stayed the same guy that Montresor hates. This is proven true because the story states “It must be understood that neither by word or deed had i given Fortunato cause to doubt my good will.” pg. 61 This
