One day a Serpent appears in the tree of good and bad and sweet talks her by saying that if she eats from the fruit she will become like God and that she will not die calling God in other words a liar. This completely changed Eve's way of thinking. At first she was obedient because she knew what God had said, but the way the serpent described the results of eating the fruit took her to eat it. After that she told Adam, her husband who was also perfect, everything the serpent had told her and gave him the fruit to eat from it. Adam seeing that Eve had not died instantly like God had said, believed what Eve had told him and took him to eat from the fruit. Also Adam's and Eve's ambition of becoming like God and rule humanity took both of them to eat it. Sadly the consequences were not as expected. This story relates to “Macbeth” because Eve could be compared to Lady Macbeth, Lady Macbeth had everything, house, life, and a husband that was honored, but her ambition that can be compared to the serpent, convinced her that she needed more.
