Similarities Between Socs And Greasers

Greasers and Socs are two different social classes. They are always fighting until one night something went terribly wrong. Two social classes one rich, another poor are always fighting. They are know as Socs and greasers they never really understood each other. Until Cherry Valance said things are rough all over got greasers seeing things different. The greasers struggle more because they are poorer than the Socs and middle class, bad home lives, and are blamed for everything. The greasers are poor and have to work for everything they want. they have to earn everything they want. “We’re poorer than the Socs and the middle class” (Hinton 3). The greasers struggle more because they have to work to keep a home. They have to earn everything they do not have the easy way out. It shows they do not have the finer things in life. They have to worry about keeping a home, money, and taking care of one another when Socs do not have to. The greasers are more poorer than the Socs and the middle class. They have to work for everything they want. they do not have an easy way out. They do not have a good living area. After the boys lost Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry parents died they have had to take care of one another to survive. They have it harder than most people. They are also blamed for everything that happens. They can not get out of anything no matter how hard they try to. The Socs have all the breaks and the greasers are stuck with the blame.
