Similarities Between Seryozha And Connie

Some similarities between Seryozha and Connie are that they both have little respect for their elders. Like how Seryozha ignored the lady who was telling him to stop smoking. Or how Connie didn’t want to be seen with her “ridiculous looking” grandmother. Some other examples are like how Seryozha doesn't listen to his father when their conversation was going on. The lessons that were taught in the stories were listen to older people and treat people how you want to be treated. Seryozha doesn't listen and pay attention in the story “Home”, the reason is that he is still only 7 years old. Examples of Seryozha not listening and not paying attention are in paragraphs 2, 44, and 34-37. “ When I began to expostulate with him, he put his fingers in his ear as usual, and sang loudly to drown my voice.” “He has his own train of thought!
